This individual emerged early from a case collected at Swithland Reservoir on 5th March 2006.

The larva pictured below was successfully reared; this male emerged on 7th May 2004.

This inhabited larval case was found on the lichen covered stone wall along the causeway at the southern end of the reservoir, alongside the numerous Luffia ferchaultella. There are no previous records of this species for VC55.
