Bosworth, 23rd February 2005 © David Penton 2005 This individual represents the first VC55 record of this adventive species that was first recorded in Britain in 1996. There are still relatively few records, and most are now thought to relate to individuals imported as larvae/pupae on various cultivated plants. This individual was found indoors during a period of cold weather and snow, and is likely to have arrived with dwarf cyclamen plants bought prior to Christmas and stored indoors. |
